Hope the holidays were good for y'all. I personally had a blast and can't wait to see what 2011 has in store..
I've decided to change how my posts will go down for a bit. I'm going to try to post shoots in series, with identical post processing for each set. I'm hoping it will help push me a bit with regard to direction. I have a tendency to get caught up in multiple styles and techniques, and not really refining a single thing.
The first series I'm posting was shot in Cleator, AZ and was a whole lot of fun. I hope you enjoy..

Vulture + Turkey
Well, I've finally managed to un-bury my workin butt long enough to have some camera time. For those of you who I either missed thanking or thanked twice, sorry. Lost track of where I was for a bit.
I managed to get lost at Vulture Mine, near Wickenburg, AZ. The place was unreal. The deal on this place is as follows:
The Vulture Gold Mine was discovered in 1863 by Henry Wickenburg. Henry sold the mine after a few years. The Vulture, however, went on to become the most productive gold mine in the history of Arizona. Vulture City grew to a population of almost five thousand people. October. My personal favorite month. I will take Halloween over every other holiday every time. Time to creepify the homestead and start the festivities early. :-)
Should also start throwing some more stuff out soon. Finally catching up around these parts....
